A Message from your New Chairman

Rudy Ramirez: 

My name is Rudy Ramirez from Delta Chapter at Texas A&M University. I crossed in 1993 and I am a founding member of DFWAA. I was voted Chairman for 2023 and I want to welcome everybody to the 23rd year of the DFW Alumni Association of Omega Delta Phi. I first want to take some time to thank Mike Dominguez and the board for the last couple of years for the hard work they put in and overcoming the obstacles of the COVID years. Thank you gentlemen.

This year our focus is BROTHERHOOD. We have many events set up for the year that start with our first in person meeting Jan 11th and our Wing Knight on January 19th. We will have Happy Hours set up throughout the year every 87th day in different locations across the metroplex. We will do our annual school supply drive in August, Thanksgiving Food drive in November, our Elf Toy Drive in December and the 20th Knights Classic Golf tournament in October. There will also be an end of summer bbq/pool party, and other great events that we have planned for the year (be on the lookout for our calendar that will be available soon).

As we begin the membership drive I’d like to challenge each of you to bring a brother back to the brotherhood. Reach out to your chapter brothers, your crew that you keep in contact with, any brother you know that lives in the DFW and bring them to a happy hour, service event, or meeting. I know y’all are tired of being cooped up the last couple years, what better excuse to get out than going to break bread with your brothers. We have a special gift for the chapter with the most members to sign up (there will be a tracker up on the website), So get to the website and signup and I hope to see your face at our events.

December Wrap up

DFWAA Elves Have Done it Again! 

Thank you to all that donated to our 2022 Elf Toy Drive and for the brothers that came out to help us shop. In addition to a truck full of donation items, we also raised over $1300 to spent on gifts for kids in need. In the end, we racked up a toy receipt taller than 2 Elves! All toys and donations were dropped off at the Children's Advocacy Center of Collin County.

DFWAA MAVS NIGHT FUN

Thanks to everyone that came out to our DFWAA at the MAVS Night. It was a night filled with popcorn, drinks, cheering, and a hard fought MAVS VICTORY!!!

We had a great time our at this event and hope that you will join us at another game for the 2023 season!
